the drapes were a vibe

Danny and Billy’s 10 year vow renewal at Carlowrie Castle resembled a glamorous red carpet event more than a traditional wedding. When we set out to design their decor, the couple sought a standout and sophisticated style in the castle’s Orangery. With Danny being the owner of TLC Media, he has attended hundreds of weddings, so I knew we had to design something unique, the vision for transforming the space began with adding chic draping to add drama and ambiance. The candlelight provided a warm and romantic atmosphere. To elevate the setting, we incorporated luxurious white florals, utilizing an abundance of gypsophila to create a breathtaking double arch that served as a grand focal point. Candles lined the aisle with the chairs positioned runway style.

After the ceremony concluded, the space underwent a magical transformation to host the reception. We seamlessly transitioned the opulent decor by reimagining the florals and candles, ensuring they served as enchanting accent pieces for the evening celebration. The breathtaking double arch of gypsophila, hydrangea and roses became a stunning backdrop for the reception, where it framed our couple beautifully at their family table.

The aisle, once lined with candles for the ceremony, was re-purposed by creating clean lines of the candles down the tables, enhancing the romantic ambiance.

This creative re-use of decor elements not only maintained the cohesive theme throughout the day but also emphasized sustainable design practices, allowing the couple and guests to enjoy the floral artistry and candlelit magic well into the night.
